Choreographer Brian Kerkoven and Designer Kamil Hewavitharana combine to present a stunning range of bridal wear representing the different ethnicities that Sri Lanka is composed of ranging from the traditional to the modern. Inspired by the uniquely Sri Lankan Saree drape of the ‘Osariya ‘from the Royal Kandyan heritage, this collection blends tradition, culture and style. The collection will be evolving into the modern from the traditional, drawing traditional fashion elements of the flamboyant Batik Designs and the dainty Beeralu lace woven by the nimble-fingered artisans of the South.

This wedding collection aspires to showcase Sri Lanka’s rich cultural traditions and creativity which go back centuries and how these precious traditions are merged with the modern-day bride.
